In life, the use of IC card smart gas meter often causes great trouble for some users who don't know much about it. Due to its wide variety of faults, it is difficult for users to understand them one by one. Aiming at its common "faults", this paper specially lists the fault classification and solutions of IC card gas meter for the majority of gas users, hoping to be helpful to the use of gas.
Recharge failed
The card is inserted reversely or the card insertion method is wrong: after the user confirms whether the card insertion method is correct, the IC card shall be inserted correctly, and the IC card shall be in full contact with the card reading part in the meter card slot.
Not the system or user card: the management personnel shall check whether the card is the system card or whether the card is taken by mistake.
Too fast card insertion and removal: the user must insert the card and pull out the card after the "beep" sound of the gas meter. The card and the meter need to check each other to transmit data. Too fast inserting and inserting the card will lead to incomplete data reading and writing.

There is foreign matter blocking in the card slot: the user must remove the foreign matter in the card slot and insert the card again.
Incorrect card insertion method or card insertion method: after the user confirms whether the card insertion method is correct, insert the IC card correctly, and the IC card shall be in full contact with the card reading part in the meter card slot.
Meter reading and writing card slot failure: replace the card slot, which must be handled by the meter company.
Insufficient battery power: the user must replace the new battery in time.
Meter does not open valve
If the remaining amount is less than 0, the user must pay and recharge in the business department in time and insert it into the table.

There are strong magnetic or interference sources around the meter: the magnetic field interferes with the measurement and causes the valve to be closed. Check whether there are strong magnetic objects around and remove them before the fault is removed.
Through gauge (negative gauge): it is generally caused by valve failure, and the gauge margin shows a negative number. It is necessary to detect whether the pipeline pressure is too high and contact the gauge manufacturer for treatment.

Water inlet short circuit of electric control part: place the meter in a dry and ventilated place to evaporate the water in the meter, and then reinstall the battery.
Failure of LCD: it shall be handled by the manufacturer and the LCD module shall be replaced.

Serious overpressure of pipeline pressure: it will damage the internal structure of the meter and cannot be measured normally. The meter must be replaced.
Human intervention: the gas company shall check whether there is human intervention and other behaviors.
