Gas is a flammable and explosive gas fuel, and the safe use of gas is very important. As a metering instrument for terminal trade settlement in gas transmission and distribution, gas meter is closely related to the safe use of gas. In daily life, it is particularly important to regularly check whether the gas meter is damaged. Users should pay attention to the following points when using the gas meter:
1. Correctly use gas meter
"Six noes" of protection table: do not knock or bump the gas meter; The shape of the gas meter can place articles, and do not accumulate sundries and combustibles on and around the gas meter; Do not build buildings and structures around underground gas pipelines and their equipment; Do not use the gas pipeline and gas equipment as the grounding wire of electrical equipment; Do not loosen the thread fixing the gas meter, so as to cause problems in pipeline sealing and air leakage.
2. Pay attention to the application place of gas meter and pipeline equipment
According to national regulations, gas pipelines, gas meters, stoves and water heaters cannot be installed in bedrooms, and gas meters cannot be installed in toilets and bathrooms. If the residential layout needs to be changed and the pipeline gas equipment needs to be changed, a request shall be made to the relevant department of gas, and professional personnel shall come to the site for planning and construction.
3. Do not touch the gas meter and gas pipeline equipment privately
If it is necessary to expand the application scope of pipeline gas, install, refit and demolish fixed gas meters and pipeline gas equipment, the request procedures shall be handled at the relevant gas departments. Self installation, modification, disassembly and assembly of gas pipelines and gas meters are violations.
4. Pay attention at the end of gas use
Form the good habit of "people go out of fire". Check whether the gas has been turned off after use, before going to bed and when going out. Off gas refers to: closed gas appliance switch, plug valve and ball valve. Normally, the plug valve and gas appliance switch shall be closed. If it takes a long time to leave home, close the ball valve in front of the gas meter and completely cut off the gas source.
5. Do not bury the pipeline into the wall without permission, or wrap the gas meter
In this way, if the gas leaks, it is not easy to detect, find the leakage point and repair. Do not cover the gas pipeline equipment in the closed ceiling or cabinet. Once the gas leaks, the gas will accumulate in the closed ceiling or cabinet space, which is not easy to be found. When the gas accumulates to a certain concentration, it will cause explosion in case of open fire (the wires on the ceiling and some starters are prone to sparks).這樣做，如果燃氣走漏，不易發(fā)覺、查找漏點及修理。請勿將燃氣管道設(shè)備遮封在密閉的天花板或柜內(nèi)，一旦燃氣發(fā)作走漏，密閉的天花板或柜內(nèi)空間就會積存燃氣，不易被發(fā)現(xiàn)，當燃氣積累到必定濃度時遇明火(天花板上的電線及一些啟動器很容易發(fā)生火花)，就會引發(fā)爆破事端。
